The Hydrotherapy Procedure

5. What can be done?
In Colon Hydrotherapy, there is a continuous flow of oxygenated and sterilized water to gently separate encrustations from the colon wall, flushing them out of the body. Nutritional supplements restore the digestive system to a more positive condition.

6. What results can be expected?
Results vary from person to person. Every body is different, but removing stagnant waste can be considered an improvement. Results regularly reported include:

  • Renewed energy and vitality
  • Emotional release
  • Flattening of the abdomen
  • Relief from chronic addictions or afflictions

7. How does a colon hydrotherapy treatment compare to an enema?
An enema will only clean out about 12 inches of the rectum and the bowel area; however, a Colonic will aim to cleanse the whole of the colon (approx. 5ft. long and 2 inches in diameter). Unlike enemas, Colon Hydrotherapy doesn't irritate the bowel because we use only water.
  • A colonic cleanses the colon, emptying the pockets thereby helping to reduce waste. This in turn, helps to improve muscular contractions.
  • Re-educates the colon so it returns to its more original form.
  • Balances the micro-flora ecosystem by removing the old waste and excessive overgrowth of "bad" bacteria, thus allowing the "good" bacteria to thrive.
  • Helps to decrease the toxins re-entering the body (Leaky gut syndrome).
  • Decreases the risk of cancer by removing old waste products and ensuring that the bowel works properly.

8. How much of the intestine is actually cleansed during a colon hydrotherapy treatment?
During a treatment it is possible for a professional colon therapist to cleanse the full length of the colon (large intestine).

9. Who should have this treatment?
Because a malfunctioning colon can trigger 80% of all diseases, almost all people can benefit from a series of Colonics and will notice an improvement in their health. The procedure cleanses the colon of accumulated fecal matter, mucous deposits, gas and toxins.

10. How many treatments will I need?
Colon Therapy is administered in a series of treatments. The number of Colonics needed varies for each individual. Six treatments are recommended for most people: spread over two or three weeks to carry out a thorough cleansing. Your toxicity level will determines the number of Colonics you individually will need. A series of Colonics is necessary to remove the impacted material from the colon wall; the washing is very gentle and works by virtue of repeated cleanings—not by force. If there is continued clearing of undigested food, heavy mucus, dark encrustations or heavy toxins, you may wish to continue treatment until you are free of these substances.
